It is a count of a population and its characteristics, such as age, gender, occupation, education and relationship status in a country at a certain time.

WHAT is A census used for

After a Census is completed the Government uses it to analyse data to better create beneficial policy. 

Data that is collected and analysed is

• Population growth

• Education levels

• Gender

• Age of population

Census 2024 data can be found below.

The Ministry of Immigration and Citizenship will collect and collate data from the Census and release its findings in the second quarter of the year.

Note: All respondent information is kept confidential. Your responses are not released individually. You will not be contacted by any member or ministry of the government to discuss your answers.
